Morgan Healthcare Conference on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 9:15 a.m. ET. Dr. Kathiresan’s presentation will include an overview of Verve’s strategy to create once-and-done gene editing medicines for coronary heart disease and an update on the company’s preclinical progress.
Gene editing is a promising new treatment approach for coronary heart disease, the leading cause of death worldwide. Genetic studies have revealed gene variants that naturally turn off a disease-causing gene in the liver and dramatically lower some individuals’ lifetime risk of coronary heart disease.
